Duties and responsibilities
  • Teaching in the basic module of teacher training and practice subjects, including preparing and conducting lectures, seminars and practicums at the first two levels of higher education.
  • Supervising Bachelor’s and Master’s theses.
  • Participating in admission and defense committees.
  • Participating in the research, development and creative activities in the field of educational sciences and of the institute.
  • Popularizing the field of study.
  • Research in the volume equivalent to at least 1/3 of a doctoral thesis in five years (at the workload of 1,0).
  • Continuous professional development to enhance teaching, supervising, research, and development skills.

Required qualifications
Master's degree or an equivalent qualification.

Required experience
  • Candidates must be qualified to teach the subjects of their specialism on the first two levels of higher education and supervise students.
  • Candidates should have readiness to do research and development work in the field of educational sciences.
  • Candidates should have the knowledge of modern study aids and learning methods and the knowledge of their development opportunities.

Required language skills
Excellent command in Estonian and English sufficient for professional communication and research.
