Adjunct Assistant/Associate/Professor (Open Rank): Master's Program - Enrollment Management and Policy (EMP): EDUC 691

Rossier School of Education Faculty Los Angeles, California

The mission of the USC Rossier School of Education is to prepare leaders to achieve educational equity through practice, research and policy. We work to improve learning opportunities and outcomes in urban settings and to address disparities that affect historically marginalized groups. We teach our students to value and respect the cultural context of the communities in which they work and to interrogate the systems of power that shape policies and practices. Through innovative thinking and research, we strive to solve the most intractable educational problems.

The Enrollment Management and Policy program seeks an instructor for EDUC 691: Admission Policy and Practice. This course examines admission policy and practice within the contexts of history, social class, professional practice and the interplay of institutions and society. Additionally, it examines holistic review, test-optional policies and constructs effective and equitable policies.

Adjunct Faculty: USC reserves the “Adjunct Faculty” appointment for faculty teaching less than full-time at USC, who are employed full-time in a primary profession or career elsewhere. Adjunct faculty may teach one class each semester (summer, fall and spring).
