Adjunct Lecturer in Law - Employment Dispute Mediation

USC Gould School of Law is seeking a lecturer to co-teach Employment Dispute Mediation (LAW 826) for the Spring 2022 semester. This one-unit course provides a series of simulated mediation experiences combined with a general survey of substantive employment law and the procedural rules governing mediation.

Candidates must have a JD and at least five years of practice, including experience with mediations of employment disputes.  In addition, this course will be taught on campus, so instructors must be local.

USC reserves the “Adjunct” appointment for faculty teaching less than full-time at USC, who are employed full-time in a primary profession or career elsewhere. Adjunct faculty typically teach only one course per year but, in exceptional cases, may teach one course per semester, if approved by the dean.
