The Department of Psychiatry, Yale School of Medicine seeks Board Certified/Board Eligible candidates pursuing academic careers to become affiliated with the largest provider of hospital based psychiatric services in Connecticut, Yale New Haven Health System. Opportunities are available for an Adolescent Psychiatrist to serve on Yale New Haven Psychiatric Hospital Adolescent Service, a 23-bed inpatient unit that is the largest single provider of inpatient psychiatric services for adolescents in CT. Successful candidates will have completed a residency in psychiatry leading to board eligibility or board certification and will have also completed an adolescent psychiatry fellowship in addition to being licensed (or license eligible) within the State of Connecticut. Teaching is a critical part of this role as this is a main teaching site for Child/Adolescent training for Yale Psychiatry residents. 

This position carries a faculty appointment within the Department of Psychiatry at the assistant, associate, or professor level depending upon the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
