The Division of Population Behavioral Health of UCLA’s Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences, in conjunction with the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, has a position for a junior faculty assistant clinical professor. This position is an opportunity to cultivate an academic, research, and clinical career in a highly productive university setting. A Ph.D. degree and an interest in clinical care, education, training, and research relevant to working in the following areas: bicultural behavioral health assessment and treatment (children, youth and families), trauma-informed assessment and treatment, family-centered prevention and treatment, including expertise in parenting and family systems models are required. Candidate must be bilingual and completely fluent in Spanish. The initial appointment rank will be commensurate with experience.

The position will involve independent research, clinical and teaching responsibilities, including instruction to psychology trainees, postdoctoral fellows, and psychology students. Candidates must possess or be eligible for a permanent California clinical psychology license.
