The Program for Specialized Treatment Early in Psychosis (STEP, www.step.yale.edu) includes a NIMH recognized model coordinated specialty care service for early schizophrenia spectrum disorders, and early detection service to shorten Duration of Untreated Psychosis and is a recognized hub for workforce development and research across the translational continuum.

STEP is now recruiting at the Assistant Professor level (Clinical Track) for a licensed Clinical Psychologist.

Job Description: Lead interleaved efforts in direct care provision, care model refinement, and dissemination via technical assistance and workforce development within a statewide network of agencies (Learning Health Network or LHN). The LHN will use educational interventions to support the overall program goal of ensuring access to best practice care for all early psychosis patients and families in CT.

Qualifications

PhD in Psychology with license or license-eligibility in the State of Connecticut, at least 3 years experience working with early psychosis patients and experience in didactic and case based teaching and development of curricula. Also, experience in providing family services is a must. Excellent writing and presentation skills. Preferred experience in specialty first-episode psychosis team models of care.
