The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering invites applications for a tenure track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level, to start on September 1, 2022.

Qualifications

We are looking to hirein all areas related to wireless systems including, but not limited to (in alphabetical order): antennas, circuits, communications theory, information theory, machine learning, networking, radio propagation, signal processing, sensing, security, and applications.   You should have a Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering, computer science and engineering, or a closely related discipline. We seek individuals who have the potential to develop a research program with a strong record of scholarship and external funding, teaching and curricular innovation, leadership, and entrepreneurship.   Additionally, the candidate will be a member of NYU WIRELESS, a world leading research institute on next generation networks; we seek individuals that can engage actively with the industrial affiliates of the center.

The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department is a highly ranked, leading research department with over twenty-five tenure and tenure-track faculty.  In addition to NYU WIRELESS, prominent research centers associated with the department include the Center for Advanced Technology in Telecommunications (CATT), the Center for Cyber-Security (CCS), a large multi-faculty robotics group, and the NYU nanolab which includes a 2000 square foot clean room with world-class micro- and nanofabrication and metrology tools.
