Position Description

The Architecture and Sustainable Design (ASD) Pillar at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) invites applications for a full-time Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position in Design Computation.

Candidates are expected to:

  • Teach an undergraduate introductory subject on design computing.

  • Lead graduate design studios.

  • Develop their own research-oriented elective, cross-listed for both undergraduate and graduate students.

Additionally, candidates are expected to:

  • Conduct research and produce creative work within a research-intensive university setting.

  • Seek research funding from relevant government and industry sources.

  • Contribute to architectural computing research via academic publishing and creative work.

Job Requirements

  • Accredited graduate degree in Architecture.

  • Demonstrated outstanding past academic research, teaching, and professional work in design.
