Position Summary

The Rutgers University–Camden School of Business (RSBC) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Finance.

We seek candidates with research interests across diverse areas of finance who have demonstrated potential to become outstanding scholars and sustain a high-impact research program suitable for tenure at a research university.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting and publishing innovative research in top scholarly journals.

  • Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in finance, in both traditional and online formats.

  • Teaching assignments may include:

    • On-campus (Camden, NJ)

    • Online courses

    • Off-campus locations: Mt. Laurel, Blackwood, Mays Landing, Freehold, and/or Princeton, NJ.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • PhD in Finance or a related field by the start date (September 1, 2026).

  • ABD candidates who expect degree completion by that date are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Evidence of research excellence and potential for publication in top finance journals.

  • Strong commitment to high-quality teaching and student engagement.
