Job Description

The Assistant Professor in Business Analytics will be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering courses to students in the specified discipline areas of study.

  • Evaluating and monitoring individual student progress and providing feedback to improve and sustain student success.

  • Teaching a variety of specialized courses and other courses related to the Business Analytics specialization.

  • Engaging in quality research and publishing in journals of high repute.

  • Supporting and engaging in curriculum development and course management aligned with university and college standards.

  • Contributing effectively to college and university initiatives, and participating in constructive proposals and projects.

  • Supporting and participating in accreditation initiatives at local and international levels.

  • Guiding students to envision their future careers in local, regional, and international contexts and ensuring they are equipped to meet these challenges.

  • Maintaining relationships with students that are conducive to learning.

  • Initiating and participating in effective community engagement activities benefiting AAU and the local community.


General Conditions

Applicants must demonstrate:

  • A proven track record of teaching excellence at the university level, with 2+ years of university teaching experience.

  • Research published in journals indexed in Scopus.

  • Dedication to continued professional development.

  • Dedication to renewing, developing, and proposing curricula.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Arabic, both orally and in writing.

  • Advanced use of technology in education (e.g., delivering classes via presentations, using e-learning systems, reports, etc.).

  • Willingness to provide all necessary and required services to the university and college.
