The Chemical Engineering Department in the College of Engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara is seeking applications as part of an external search for one tenure-track Assistant Professor position.

At a minimum, applicants must have completed all requirements for a PhD (or equivalent) except the dissertation (or equivalent) in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
Applicants must have a PhD degree or equivalent in chemical engineering or a related field by time of appointment as Assistant Professor.
Clear evidence of important intellectual contributions and vision for impactful new areas of research in the general area of chemical engineering disciplines.
Statement of Contributions to Diversity - Statement addressing past and/or potential contributions to diversity through research, teaching, and/or service.
