Description

The Child Study Center is seeking applicants for an assistant professor position in child psychology with a focus on administering evidence-based assessment and treatment procedures to children with anxiety disorders and their parents. Expertise in the Anxiety Disorders Interview Schedule for Children, cognitive behavior therapy, parent-based interventions, and computer-based interventions is required. Also required is expertise in training and supervising research assistants, psychology fellows, post-doctoral fellows, and psychiatry fellows in these evidence-based procedures. Additionally preferred is experience in working with minority, Spanish-speaking populations and skills in applying complex statistical analytic approaches such as confirmatory factor analysis using robust methods to test the utility of current assessment measures with diverse populations. A range of opportunities for collaboration are available including work with clinical programs in departments of Psychiatry, Pediatrics, and Psychology.
