Assistant Professor of Clinical Child Psychiatry

The Yale Child Study Center seeks an Assistant Professor of Clinical Child Psychiatry to provide inpatient consultation-liaison to a rehabilitative children’s hospital.  This faculty position will oversee: (1) Psychotropic medication management;  (2) As needed, psychiatric diagnostic assessments; and (3) Discharge planning around psychiatric and behavioral health needs and ongoing psychotherapy and medication management.  They will regularly attend virtually or in person medical team meetings during which patients’ needs and progress are regularly reviewed and provide as needed teleconsultation to the team when not physically on site.  The position provides these services one day per week in New York, provides 25% effort at Turnbridge providing psychiatric services to substance-using adolescents, and 5% for on-call at Yale New Haven Hospital.
