The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Gynecologic Oncology and the successful applicants must have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Ob/Gyn and be ACGME-fellowship trained in Gynecologic Oncology and board certified or board eligible in gynecologic oncology.

Candidates will be expected to teach Gyn Oncology fellows, Ob/Gyn residents and medical students and participate in clinical research including clinical trials.

Clinical responsibilities may include out-patient consultations for women with gynecologic cancers as well as in-patient consultation and operative care primarily based at Chester County Hospital.

The successful candidate will join an established Division of Gynecologic Oncology at PENN Medicine and be based primarily at Chester County Hospital. Candidates should have excellent surgical skills including minimally invasive surgery. The division is a member of the Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG/NRG).
