The School of Business at Özyeğin University, Istanbul, Turkey invites applications at all levels for a faculty position in Operations Management, starting Fall 2026.
Position Requirements:
Candidates for Assistant Professor are expected to hold a Ph.D. or be close to completing their degree. They should demonstrate potential for high-quality scholarly research and effective teaching in English at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Candidates for senior positions should have an established record of publications in top-tier journals, along with evidence of high-quality teaching.
Teaching loads are internationally competitive, and salary and compensation are commensurate with rank and qualifications.
Research Focus:
We are particularly interested in candidates whose research leverages business analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) to advance operations management. Applicants with rigorous methodological training and a research agenda where AI plays a central role—whether through developing novel algorithms or applying AI techniques in ways that significantly deepen our understanding of OM phenomena—will be especially competitive. Research that applies these tools to domain-specific OM problems or integrates business analytics for decision-making is particularly welcome.
