The Miami Herbert Business School at the University of Miami invites applications for an Educator position at the Assistant Professor of Professional Practice level in the Department of Management.
The department is seeking an individual with:
Experience as an entrepreneur with a record of distinguished accomplishments
Strong connections with business practitioners
Ability to serve as a role model for students and colleagues
Required qualifications:
Ph.D. or equivalent
Experience in an academic setting (part of career)
Published works (practitioner articles, books, and/or case studies) preferred
Strong teaching experience is highly desired
Teach 6 assigned courses (18 credits) per academic year
Hold office hours and provide additional student support outside class
Engage in service activities as assigned by the Department Chair
Follow department expectations and protocols
Assist with department and school entrepreneurial activities
Note: This is a non-tenure earning appointment.
