Description

The Department of Neurosurgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure research track. Expertise is required in the specific area of in vitro and in vivo models to explore new approaches to glioblastoma therapy. Applicants must have significant experience managing a Tissue Bank and performing GBM research. Applicants must have an M.D. or Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include authoring high-impact original papers and grant proposals as either a project leader or collaborator as well as overseeing the operation of the Adult Brain Tumor Tissue Bank and developing cell lines useful for glioblastoma (GBM) research.
