Assistant Professor of Music

Position Overview

The Butler School of Music periodically hires professional track faculty members to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in applied and/or academic music. These positions are non-tenure track. Availability varies by semester and is contingent on funding.

Qualifications

Candidates should:

• Have training, education, and experience relevant to the specialization to be taught

• Demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level

• Possess excellent communication skills
