The University of Chicago's Department of Pediatrics, Section of Neurology, is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank. Clinical responsibilities will be assigned in the outpatient, inpatient, and procedural settings at the University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital and other practice plan sites, focused on pediatric patients with neurological disorders.
Other duties include:
Teaching and supervision of trainees and students
Scholarly activity

The University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital is a busy urban teaching hospital with a diverse patient population, located on the same campus as the medical school.
The University has a robust Neuroscience Institute, which brings together more than 90 neuroscientists across academic and clinical departments into a cohesive program. The Section of Pediatric Neurology currently has 9 full-time child neurology attendings and plans to expand in the coming years.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must:
Have a medical doctorate (MD) or equivalent
Hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois and State of Indiana
Be board certified or board eligible in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology
Applicants with Pediatric Neurology Fellowship training are especially welcome.
