Position Type: Academic Clinician Track, Assistant Professor
Appointment: Full-time, non-tenure


Responsibilities

  • Teaching:

    • Educate medical students, neurology residents, neuro-oncology fellows, nurses, and advanced practice providers

    • Contribute to the academic mission with mentorship and supervision

  • Clinical:

    • Manage patients with primary and metastatic brain tumors and neurological complications of cancer

    • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary Brain Tumor Program at the Abramson Cancer Center

  • Collaboration:

    • Joint faculty appointment with Department of Neurology (Neuro-Oncology Division) and Hematology-Oncology

    • Work with specialized nurses, pharmacists, and physician team


Qualifications

  • M.D. or equivalent

  • ABPN Board Certified in Neurology

  • UCNS certification or eligibility

  • Academic motivation and ability to work in a high-volume, medically complex, diverse patient population
