The Clinical Assistant Professor will participate in clinical care, teaching, research, and service activities in the Department of Neurology. The focus is on Behavioral Neurology and Alzheimer’s Disease, with responsibilities including:
Evaluation and management of patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
Communication and coordination with other Behavioral Neurology providers
Participation in Neurology Grand Rounds, night call, and weekend coverage
Teaching and mentoring of medical students, neurology residents, and fellows
Participation in clinical trials as principal or sub-investigator
Conducting research consistent with professional practice, clinical educator, or clinical scholar track
Community service and departmental administrative duties
Maintaining Board certification and continuing education
Minimum Education and Experience
M.D.
Completion of an ACGME-accredited neurology residency
Board certified or eligible in neurology
Eligible for a New Jersey medical license
Certifications/Licenses
Board certification or eligibility in neurology
New Jersey medical license eligibility
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Behavioral Neurology and Alzheimer’s Disease care
Previous teaching or mentoring experience in neurology
