Assistant Professor of Nursing / Adult Nursing (Acute Care /Critical Care / Medical-Surgical Nursing)

Qualification: PhD in Nursing from a recognized and accredited university.

Job Description

  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate nursing courses in theory, laboratory, and simulation settings according to the faculty member’s area of expertise.

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in nursing education and student-centered learning.

  • Participate in curriculum development, course coordination, assessment, and continuous quality improvement activities.

  • Contribute to College and University committees and academic activities.

  • Develop and maintain an active program of scholarly research and contribute to high-quality research publications.

  • Supervise and advise nursing students and support their academic and professional development.

  • Participate in simulation, clinical education, and other experiential learning activities as required.

  • Contribute to accreditation, quality assurance, and program enhancement activities.

  • Undertake other academic and administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Dean or relevant academic authority.

General Conditions

  • Appropriate academic and/or clinical experience in the relevant nursing specialty.

  • Demonstrated teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.

  • Strong record of research and scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals.

  • Experience with simulation-based education, clinical teaching, and contemporary educational technologies is preferred.

  • Familiarity with quality assurance and nursing program accreditation standards is an advantage.

  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural academic environment.

  • Commitment to student-centered education, professional development, research, and continuous improvement.
