The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.

Expertise is required in the specific area of obstetrics and gynecology.

Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree.

Candidates must be board certified/eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Teaching Responsibilities

Teaching responsibilities may include:

• Clinical training and supervision of medical students and residents.
• Participation in the formal teaching curriculum.

Clinical Responsibilities

Clinical responsibilities may include:

• Outpatient prenatal care.
• Outpatient gynecology care.
• Labor and delivery coverage.
• Gynecologic surgery.

Faculty Practice

The successful candidate would join the Penn Medicine Division of Academic Specialists, a group of full-time obstetricians and gynecologists, advanced practice providers including midwives, in a faculty practice at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills are required.

A commitment to resident and medical student education is required.

Qualifications

Applicants must have:

• M.D. or equivalent degree.
• Board certification or board eligibility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Expertise in obstetrics and gynecology.
