In the field of research and education, the Department of Chemical Drugs focuses on the synthesis of new potential drugs, on the study of the relationship between their chemical structure and biological activity, on the study of physicochemical properties and analytical evaluation of new biologically active substances or drugs already in use. It is one of the six departments of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Masaryk University (MU).

The primary mission of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Masaryk University is to provide university education, conduct research in the field of pharmacy and related disciplines, and fulfil the faculty's social role as an academic institution. The faculty cooperates closely with domestic and foreign research institutes and pharmaceutical industrial enterprises and is a proud holder of the HR Excellence in Research, a European quality certificate for HR processes.

What will be your job responsibilities:

  • Participation in the education of students in master's and doctoral study programs of the Department of Chemical Drugs of the Faculty of Pharmacy
  • Participation in research, development, and innovation for the Department of Chemical Drugs of the Faculty of Pharmacy

  • Completed university education in the field of pharmacy, or a related field
  • Knowledge in drug development and nanomaterials is an advantage
  • Ability to work independently as a teacher and scientist, including publishing activities

  • Excellent knowledge of the Czech language verbally and in writing

In the event of non-delivery of the documents when submitting the e-application, the applicant may be asked to provide them at most once by a specific date. If he/she fails to submit the materials by this deadline, he/she will not be included in the next round of the selection procedure.

Selection process

Suitable candidates will be invited to a personal interview. The University's selection procedure rules are in the Regulations on Competitive Selection Procedures at MU.

In justified cases, the announcer may extend, suspend, or cancel the selection process.
