Assistant at the Institute of Molecular Pharmacy

The Department of Molecular Pharmacy specializes in research and education focused on testing the biological activity of natural and synthetic substances on tissue cultures. It is one of six departments within the Faculty of Pharmacy at Masaryk University (MU) and is seeking to expand its academic team.
Conducting research, development, and innovation, particularly by initiating and leading research groups
Activities aimed at securing third-party funding for research, development, and innovation. Submitting grant applications, implementing contractual collaborations, etc.
Publications in prestigious journals and other forms of disseminating the results of research, development, and innovation
Active participation in the preparation and implementation of student education in bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs at the Faculty of Pharmacy
Active participation in domestic and international scientific conferences; presentation of research results at conferences and other professional meetings both domestically and abroad
Authoring texts for educational purposes
Contributing to the dissemination of knowledge in the field of pharmacy to the general public
A completed university degree in molecular biology, biotechnology, or a related field
The ability to conduct independent teaching and research work, including publishing activities
A proactive attitude, initiative, and a willingness to pursue further professional growth
Ability to actively participate in international conferences and professional seminars
Excellent command of the Czech language, both spoken and written
Active knowledge of the English language
Organizational skills
Ability to work in a team
Good character and moral integrity, responsibility
8 weeks of vacation
Flexible work hours
Option to work partially from home
Meal allowance of 65 CZK for each day worked
