Job Description / Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-quality research in Value Theory, broadly including:

    • Normative Ethics, Applied Ethics, Meta-Ethics

    • Aesthetics, Philosophy of Art

    • Normative Epistemology

    • Social and Political Philosophy, Philosophy of Law

  • Additional teaching expertise in Non-Western Philosophy or Feminist Philosophy is strongly desirable

  • Teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students

  • Contribute to curriculum design and interdisciplinary teaching

  • Participate in departmental administration, governance, and quality assurance

  • Engage in academic leadership within the Department and School

  • Ability to teach across a range of philosophical topics
