The Department of Classics invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin in Fall 2026-27. We seek a Hellenist specializing in intellectual history.
Responsibilities include:
Teaching Greek language and culture at the undergraduate and graduate levels
Conducting research in Greek intellectual history
Providing departmental and university service, including committee work, overseeing exams, and organizing events

Ph.D. in Classical Studies or a closely related field must be completed by August 15, 2026
