The Department of Political Science at Yale University is seeking to hire a faculty member with expertise in Normative Political Theory at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning July 1, 2025. A successful applicant should focus on substantive questions in any area of political theory. The candidate will be asked to teach courses in political theory commensurate with their expertise. The initial appointment will be for 5 years. The teaching expectation is normally 3 courses per academic year.

Qualifications

Ph.D. or equivalent degree required at time of hire.
