Description
The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the tenure track.

Expertise is required in the specific areas of psychiatric neurogenetics, animal models, snRNAseq technology, and spatial transcriptomic science. Applicants must have an M.D. and/or Ph.D. degree.

Teaching Responsibilities

  • Graduate and/or clinical instruction of residents, medical students, graduate students, and post-doctoral fellows.

Research or Scholarship Responsibilities

  • Conduct research in translational neuroscience relevant to the neurogenetics of psychiatric disease.

  • Publish in top journals.

  • Successfully compete for extramural funding to support research.
