The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine of the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California is inviting applications at the assistant professor level in the research track.  Expertise is sought in epigenetic regulation of keratins in development and diseases, and DNA methylation in aging and pathogenesis.  Academic rank and salary is commensurate with qualifications. 

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree
  • Record of excellence in research
  • Candidate will be responsible for the writing of grant proposals and scientific peer-reviewed articles, design and direction of experiments and the supervision of technicians for projects epigenetic regulation of keratins in development and diseases, and DNA methylation in aging and pathogenesis.  It is the expectation of the Department that the candidate will establish independent funding.
