Position Overview

The Department of Language Science at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) seeks applicants for a tenure-track assistant professor faculty position. Candidates should combine a strong theoretical background with computational, psycholinguistic, cognitive neuroscientific, or clinical approaches to the study of language.

In addition to contributing significantly to the department, the successful candidate will have opportunities to engage with a dynamic and growing community in language, speech, and hearing sciences across the university, including the Department of Cognitive Sciences, Department of Education, Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science, Center for Hearing Research, and Center for Neuroimaging.
