DUTIES

To instruct all theory and practical aspects of the Plumber Apprenticeship, Foundation & Sampler programs, and Gasfitter B programs per the Skilled Trades BC Program Outlines. To instruct other related courses as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

  • Interprovincial Red Seal Plumbing Certification
  • Served in a recognized apprenticeship  program
  • 4 years post-certification experience
  • B Gasfitter certification
  • Post-secondary teaching experience
  • Proficiency with MS WORD, EXCEL & POWERPOINT
  • BCWWA - Certified Cross Connection Control Proctor Monitor (Candidates without this certification must commit to attaining it within the first year of employment)

Assets:

  • Provincial Instructor Diploma
  • Supervisory/management experience
  • A Gasfitter certification
