W1-Assistant professorship for School Education

to commence on 1 April 2021. The successful candidate will be employed for an initial period of four years with the status of temporary civil servant (Beamte auf Zeit). The contract may be extended for a further two years following a positive interim evaluation. The position has a teaching load of four hours per week prior to the interim evaluation, and six hours thereafter.

The position is in a innovative environment which is strong in research. This position provides the opportunity and expectation that, in the course of the six years of the contract, the W1 professor will attain the research and teaching achievements that will qualify him or her for a subsequent appointment as a tenured professor at a university or equivalent institution. Applicants who have completed a habilitation will therefore be excluded.
