Position description

University of California, San Diego, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applications for a non-tenure track Assistant Project Scientist position.

Applicants should submit a current curriculum vitae with complete publication list, and separate statements summarizing research interests, and past experience in activities that promote diversity and inclusion and/or plans to make future contributions. Salary is based on published UC San Diego pay scales and competitive market conditions.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

PhD degree in electrical engineering, materials science, physics, or a related area.

Preferred qualifications

Candidates with experience in microfabrication, back-end-of-line integration, solid-state semiconductor devices, neurotechnology, flexible electronics, and with experience with or willingness to engage in activities that contribute to diversity and inclusion are especially encouraged to apply.
