The Department of Applied Psychology in the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) at Rutgers University, The State University of New Jersey invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Assistant Teaching Professor Faculty position. Competitive candidates will demonstrate appropriate graduate-level teaching and professional practice experience, excellence in teaching, and specialized knowledge in key areas of psychology including applied behavior analysis (ABA), sport psychology, addictions and substance use counseling, research, and other applied practices. Furthermore, candidates will show capacity to contribute to the mission and goals of GSAPP and the professional community. This faculty will provide oversight of all the applied psychology practicum placements including the Master of Applied Psychology, Master in Applied Behavior Analysis, and Psy.D. in Organizational Psychology Programs. In addition to all certification and licensure requirements aforementioned, candidates should be knowledgeable about the BCBA certification process. The ABA programs are approved Verified Course Sequences by the Association for Behavior Analysis, International.

Minimum Education and Experience

A doctoral degree in Psychology, or allied profession.
A license to practice psychology in New Jersey; eligible for future licensure in ABA in New Jersey; or BCBA/BCBA-D certification; or LCADC; or AASP certification.
Experience in graduate level teaching and the practice of professional psychology, especially regarding practicum placements, site visits, student evaluations, etc.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong commitment to and experience in professional training in applied and professional psychology.
