We are looking for an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor to deliver high quality teaching and undertake original research of international excellence in Pure Mathematics, complementing and enhancing the current activity of the Pure Mathematics Section. The School of Mathematical Sciences was ranked in the top ten for both research power and grade point average in the Mathematical Sciences in REF 2014. The highly research active and growing Pure Mathematics Section comprises 15 permanent academic staff. The Section has research strengths in the broad areas of algebra, analysis, computational algebra, geometry, and number theory. This is a permanent full-time position, (36.25 hours per week) available from 01 September 2022, part-time working (minimum 21.75 hours per week) and job share arrangements may be considered.
