Qualification: PhD in Special Education or a closely related field
The College seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor in Special Education to contribute to teaching, research, and program development. Key responsibilities include:
Teaching courses in Special Education (e.g., assessment and diagnosis, IEP development, instructional strategies for diverse disabilities, behavior management, inclusion practices, assistive technologies) with high efficiency.
Demonstrating expertise in evidence-based pedagogical approaches for students with various disability categories.
Preparing future teachers to design and implement individualized instructional plans and provide effective interventions across educational settings.
Establishing an active research program in Special Education involving student participation, focused on current issues such as inclusion, assistive technology, intervention effectiveness, and family–school partnerships.
Applying contemporary teaching practices and E-learning strategies in Special Education.
Contributing to curriculum enhancement, innovative instructional methods, and academic program development.
Participating in college and university initiatives, proposing constructive projects related to Special Education and community engagement.
Encouraging students to consider their future careers locally, regionally, and internationally, ensuring they are equipped to meet professional demands in Special Education.
Engaging in curriculum development, academic advising, organizing conferences, seminars, workshops, and community-oriented activities.
Building partnerships with local educational and rehabilitation institutions.
Providing service to the college and university, participating in curriculum evaluation, and engaging in research and scholarly activities.
Proven track record of teaching excellence at the university level, with 2–5 years of university teaching experience and 5 years of professional experience in Special Education or related fields.
Research published in international scientific journals indexed in Scopus.
Dedication to renewing, developing, and proposing curricula that reflect current best practices in Special Education.
Extensive experience working with individuals with special needs and teaching Special Education courses.
Willingness to provide all necessary services to the university and college.
