Qualification
- Ph.D. in Islamic Studies or a relevant field.
Job Description
Successful candidates will be expected to:
- Develop and deliver courses to students in the specified discipline areas of study.
- Evaluate and monitor individual student progress and provide feedback to improve and sustain student success.
- Teach a variety of specialized courses, and other courses related to the Islamic Studies specialization.
- Engage in high-quality research and publish in reputable journals.
- Support and participate in curriculum development and course management aligned with the University's and College’s standards.
- Contribute effectively to college and university initiatives, and participate in constructive proposals and projects.
- Support and participate in accreditation initiatives at local and international levels.
- Promote and guide students to envision their future careers in local, regional, and international contexts, ensuring they are equipped to meet these challenges.
- Maintain relationships with students that are conducive to learning.
- Initiate and participate in effective community engagement activities benefiting the university and the local community.
General Conditions
Applicants should have:
- A proven track record of teaching excellence at the university level, with at least 2 years of university teaching experience.
- Research publications in journals indexed in the Scopus database.
- Dedication to continued professional development.
- Commitment to renewing, developing, and proposing curricula.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
- Advanced proficiency in using technology in the educational process, including presentations, e-learning systems, and reporting tools.
- Willingness to provide all necessary and required services to the university and college.
