Position Description

The Department of Psychology at the University of Miami invites applications for a faculty position in the Adult Division. Areas of focus are open and could include:

  • Basic research on affect, cognition (learning, memory, attention), and social processes

  • Mechanistic studies related to mental health

  • Clinical science

Preferred methodological expertise includes:

  • Lab-based experimental, naturalistic, computational

  • Mobile health / digital phenotyping

  • Cognitive neuroscience

Candidates with skills in data science, advanced quantitative techniques, big data, computational approaches, or machine learning are especially encouraged to apply.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Ph.D. in clinical or non-clinical psychology by the appointment start date

Preferred / Desired:

  • Strong research record and potential for independent, innovative scholarship

  • Commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring
