The Department of Psychology at the University of Miami invites applications for a faculty position in the Adult Division. Areas of focus are open and could include:
Basic research on affect, cognition (learning, memory, attention), and social processes
Mechanistic studies related to mental health
Clinical science
Preferred methodological expertise includes:
Lab-based experimental, naturalistic, computational
Mobile health / digital phenotyping
Cognitive neuroscience
Candidates with skills in data science, advanced quantitative techniques, big data, computational approaches, or machine learning are especially encouraged to apply.
Required:
Ph.D. in clinical or non-clinical psychology by the appointment start date
Preferred / Desired:
Strong research record and potential for independent, innovative scholarship
Commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring
