Position description

The Department of Education in the School of Education and Information Studies at UCLA invites qualified applicants for an Assistant or Associate Project Scientist to assist with projects for the Social Research Methodology (SRM) Division under the supervision of Professor Tina Christie. Successful candidates will have made a significant and creative contribution to a research or creative project in any academic discipline.

In this position, the successful candidate will carry out research or creative programs with supervision by a member of the Professor Series. Independent research reputation is not required. The Division has ongoing collaborations with Schools of Public Health, Public Policy, and RAND.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting and Analyzing survey data
  • Writing publishable briefs and reports based on data analysis

An earned PhD in Education or related field by time or hire.

Salary Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Anticipated Start Date:
November 1, 2021
