Subject Description
Molecular physiology includes mechanistic studies of mammalian metabolism.
The position focuses on understanding mammalian metabolism at a molecular and mechanistic level using experimental approaches.

Qualification Requirements
To qualify for the position as associate professor, applicants must have:
- A doctoral degree (or equivalent research expertise) relevant to the subject area
- Demonstrated good teaching skills
All teaching positions at Stockholm University also require:
- Ability to collaborate
- General ability and suitability to perform duties

Special attention will be given to:
Research and Teaching Skills
- Primary focus on research merits within molecular physiology and metabolism
- Strong teaching competence
Additional Considerations
- Ability to develop and lead academic activities and staff

Teaching and Learning in Higher Education
- Completion of at least 15 credits in higher education pedagogy (or equivalent knowledge) is an advantage
- If not completed, such training must be undertaken within the first 2 years of employment

- Equivalent to:Proficiency in Swedish is not required at appointment

- However, within a few years, the candidate must be able to:
