(Level D) $150,639 to $165,698 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

The Associate Professor will lead and encourage an environment of creativity and innovation in Occupational Therapy and Allied Health more broadly. They will engage with the broader academic, research and professional community, to promote and enhance the national and international profile of the School, Faculty and the University.

Reporting to the Director of Allied Health, the Associate Professor will contribute to excellence in teaching, ensure high quality student graduates, produce and enable research outputs that have national and international impact, and lead discipline-based and collaborative engagement.

To be successful you will need: 

  • A PhD or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Registration (or eligible for registration) as an Occupational Therapist within Australia.
  • Established undergraduate and/or postgraduate level teaching skills.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness and leadership in curriculum development with a proven commitment to excellence in teaching and the use of innovative teaching methods.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of university and health professional accreditation processes.
