Duties and responsibilities
  • Conducting and supervising research in Public Health.
  • Directing a research theme or part thereof, a research project or research conducted under a research agreement.
  • Internationally recognised research in five years at least in the volume equivalent to that of one doctoral thesis.
  • Supervising students, incl. master’s and doctoral students and teaching at all levels of higher education: providing lectures and seminars.
  • Participation in activities related to the promotion and implementation of the specialisation at the national and international level.
Required qualifications
PhD or an equivalent qualification.
 
Required experience
  • Internationally recognised professional research, the volume of which is equivalent to that of at least two doctoral theses.
  • Ongoing active engagement in research: internationally recognised research in the last five years at least in the volume equivalent to that of one doctoral thesis.
  • Previous teaching experience at least at the first two levels of higher education, experience of supervising master’s and doctoral students.
  • Ability to lead a research topic.
  • Team or project leading experience.
Required language skills
The candidate’s Estonian and English skills must be sufficient for communication in his/her speciality.
