The Winchester Center for Lung Disease is seeking a Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Program provider. COPD is the most common and and one of the most morbid respiratory diseases with complex sub-specialty needs.  The COPD program has grown markedly over the past 2 years and is providing advanced therapies, including endobronchial valves and now has a collaborative project with Sleep Medicine for those requiring home & nocturnal ventilation.  COPD exacerbations are a key driver of hospital admissions (and readmissions). Preserving access for new patients and particularly for hospital discharges, would assist in reducing the instances of admissions and readmissions. The Section seeks to bring a new COPD provider onboard to ensure that the program is able to meet this growing population.
