The Division of Neonatology, Department of Pediatrics at the University of Washington/Seattle Children’s Hospital is seeking a full-time neonatologist to join our faculty as a Clinical Assistant Professor on the Full Time Clinical Faculty track. This is a 12-month service period position with an anticipated start date of July 2021.

The 40-faculty member Division of Neonatology has an outstanding fellowship training program and provides clinical care at two academic NICUs and several regional NICUs. The division’s highly valued clinical faculty are fully integrated into the division’s educational and scholarly activities and each spends several weeks per year attending at one of the two academic NICUs. We are currently looking for a faculty member whose primary community site will be our regional NICU in Tacoma,WA. This is is an exceptional opportunity for a neonatologist who wishes to engage in teaching, research, and service at an outstanding academic center, the University of Washington while supporting our community NICU in Tacoma.

This position requires an MD or DO (or foreign equivalent), board certification, or board eligibility in Neonatology.

To be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
