Our goal is to combine education, patient advocacy, and evidence-based research to advance family medicine and geriatrics.

The Primary Care Physician Assistant Program at USC is seeking an experienced PA to join our program as a Clinical Assistant Professor/Instructor of Family Medicine.  The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience as a didactic instructor and/or leadership experience as an Academic Coordinator for a PA program.  This position is for a full-time, non-tenure track 12-month clinical faculty appointment.  General responsibilities include oversight of the didactic curriculum; mentorship of didactic faculty; accreditation oversight related to the Standards of Accreditation, 5th Edition with the Accreditation Review Commission on Accreditation of the Physician Assistant; and course direction and teaching.  This position also includes some student advisement, participation in research or scholarly activity and service to the program, school, university and community. The position will remain open until filled.

Qualifications:  Required:  Master’s degree in PA studies; Doctoral degree in Health Sciences, Education or Leadership preferred; current NCCPA certification; eligibility for California PA licensure; minimum of three years in PA education.  Apply here and upload CV, 3 references and letter of interest.
