UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON

Director of Structural Heart Program

The Division of Cardiology, University of Washington Department of Medicine, School of Medicine and UW Heart Institute is seeking a full-time cardiologist to join our Interventional Cardiology Service and Structural Heart Team at the University of Washington Medical Center. We would expect this individual to lead our structural interventional program and coordinate activities across our multiple campuses. The individual must have strong interpersonal skills necessary to build referral relationships throughout King, Pierce and Snohomish counties. Candidates should have a strong interest in scholarship with a demonstrated record of research and publication.  The successful applicant would be appointed to the full-time (100% FTE) faculty at the University of Washington at the Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor level, commensurate with qualifications, and an annual service period of 12 months (July 1-June 30).  Anticipated start date is March 1, 2021.

Qualifications

Applicants should have an MD degree, or foreign equivalent and be board certified/eligible in cardiovascular diseases. In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduaates of foreign (non-US) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
