The Chair of Marketing Management under the direction of Professor Manfred Krafft in the School of Business & Economics at the University of Münster, Germany, is seeking to fill the position of a

Doctoral Research Associate
Wissenschaftliche/r Mitarbeiter/in
(salary level TV-L E 13, 75%)

to start as soon as possible. We are offering this part-time position (75% FTE) for an initial term of 3 years.

Who We Are

The Chair of Marketing Management was founded in 1969 by Prof Heribert Meffert as the first marketing chair in Germany. It is famous for cutting-edge research and high-quality education. Today, Prof Manfred Krafft leads our young and dedicated team, which is always guided by our overarching conceptual philosophy of marketing strategy and customer centricity. Those concepts being the core of our activities, we cover three adjacent main research areas: sales management, channels & retailing and customer management.

What You Offer

  • A university master’s degree in economics* is required.
  • Good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken, is required.
  • German language skills are not a requirement but a willingness to learn would be welcome.

Your Tasks

  • Working toward your own doctoral degree including conception of and participation in high-level research projects
  • Teaching activities in individual courses
