The Wilmer Eye Institute of Johns Hopkins University is seeking an MD or MD/PHD who has advanced training in the medical and surgical management of Vitreoretinal diseases. In addition to clinical and surgical proficiency, a research program with extramural funding related to this area of expertise is desired. The research could range from basic laboratory studies to translational studies, including efficacy work, to effectiveness studies and their dissemination. Participation will include seeing patients at satellite offices. The faculty member will have an opportunity to build an outstanding program in retinal research, working in a highly interactive and exciting collaborative environment with distinguished scientists throughout the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Faculty rank and support will be dependent upon the successful applicant's experience and accomplishments.
