The Head of the Department of Pediatric Oncology will lead a medical, educational, and research institution specializing in diagnosis, treatment, and research of childhood and adolescent cancers.
The Head will be responsible for:
Managing the clinic and medical team
Overseeing undergraduate medical education and doctoral studies
Coordinating research and scientific publishing
Ensuring teaching and vocational training at the department
Candidates will present their vision and plan for fulfilling these responsibilities during the selection process.
University degree in General Medicine (or equivalent from abroad)
Eligibility to practice medicine in pediatric oncology (per Section 5 of Act No. 95/2004 Coll.)
Academic degree PhD or CSc
Habilitation required; full professor title is an advantage
Personal and professional capability to lead medical and academic teams
Teaching experience and readiness to guarantee vocational subjects
Active scientific and publishing activity in pediatric oncology
Active knowledge of Czech
Moral integrity
Compliance with Act No. 451/1991 Coll. (Lustration Act) – not required for those born after 1 Dec 1971 or applicants from abroad
